The effect of sodium borate addition to dimentional stability in type 3 of gypsum

Background: The removable dentures or fixed can be used as a replacement for missing teeth and restore the aesthetics functional condition of patien. Dentures with good adaptation obtained from accurate impressions. Dimensional accuracy adequate mechanical properties are one main requirements working model making materials. addition sodium borate help gypsum type III achieve balance dimentional stability. purpose this study was to determine difference in dimensional stability aquades without borate.Method: Post test only control group design research method. This consisted 2 groups total sample 32 samples, experimental given distilled water added 0.4% 0.4%. change is measured using digital sliding caliper. Statistical tests were carried out Mann Whitney results P < 0.05 which means significant between two groups. Result: lowest average found mixed borate.Conclusion: conclusion 0,4% solution
